Our Commitment to National and Community Involvement: We Have Boots on the ground

At Bussa Financial Partners, we are committed to improving our National & Local communities. This commitment is in the DNA of the Bussa family and its partners. The support, and the advancement of support for underserved communities and under-privileged areas, is evident in the organizations we support:

Miles That Matter

Miles That Matter

This year, one incredible supporter is lacing up her running shoes and taking on the Detroit Free Press Marathon to make a difference for children, families, and individuals served by The Guidance Center.

Every mile Amanda Bussa runs represents hope, resilience, and the belief that everyone deserves access to compassionate mental health care, family support, and resources that help people thrive. By supporting her fundraising efforts, you’re helping ensure that our programs remain available to those who need them most.

Cheer Amanda on as she takes on 13.1 miles for a meaningful cause. Together, we can turn every step into hope and every mile into lasting impact.

Grape Expectations For Kids Annual Dinner 2026

Grape Expectations For Kids Annual Dinner 2026

A milestone 25th Anniversary is one to truly celebrate, especially when it means that since the creation of the Kids-TALK program in 2001 thousands upon thousands of children in Wayne County have been surrounded by the support they need to heal from their trauma. Our spectacular 25th Anniversary Kids-TALK Gala (formerly the Grape Expectations for Kids Dinner) at the crown jewel of Detroit—the newly and superbly restored Michigan Central–raises funds to help The Guidance Center protect children who have suffered abuse, neglect and trauma and work to expand this life-saving program in the City of Detroit and beyond.

For 25 years Kids-TALK has made a huge difference in the lives of children and families in Wayne County. Supporting and attending this spectacular Gala both helps thousands of children each year and invests in the future of our community!
