With deep expertise in succession and exit planning, Amanda specializes in guiding business owners through the transition from ownership into retirement, helping them protect their life’s work while confidently stepping into their next chapter.
A lifelong lover of numbers and planning, Amanda discovered in college that her analytical strengths aligned perfectly with a career in financial services. After earning her BA in Finance and Accounting, she entered the industry immediately and obtained her Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. Today, she is most energized by helping clients overcome challenges and navigate major transitions to reach long-term financial success.
Amanda’s professional credentials reflect her commitment to excellence. She holds the Certified Business Exit Consultant (CBEC) designation through the International Exit Planning Association (IEPA). She has also earned both the Professional Exit Map Advisor (PEMA) designation and the Certified Exit Map Coach (CEMC) certification through the Exit Map Company—credentials that further strengthen her ability to help business owners clarify, plan, and execute their ideal exit. Most recently, Amanda earned the Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA)designation through the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors, expanding her expertise in valuation, deal structure, and the full M&A lifecycle to better support owners preparing for or pursuing a sale.
In 2025, Amanda was honored with the Award for Excellence in Exit Planning Achievement by the International Exit Planning Association, recognizing her leadership, dedication, and impact within the field of business succession and transition planning.
Amanda lives in Beverly Hills, Michigan with her business partner and husband, John Bussa, along with their two children, Olivia and Alexander. An active runner, cyclist, and competitive soccer player, Amanda finds joy in movement—whether she’s cheering her daughter on with Liverpool FC, watching her son compete across multiple basketball teams, or skiing with her family at their Colorado condo whenever they can escape to the mountains. The Bussas also cherish time at their beach condo in Florida, where they unwind, recharge, and enjoy the sun whenever their schedules allow.
Passionate about giving back, Amanda volunteers with The Guidance Center and Leader Dogs for the Blind, supporting organizations that make a meaningful and personal impact in the community.
